Jonathan Center | Down Syndrome Albania

SNAP Atelier & Café is our newest initiative, which will aim to provide the services of a café and atelier, including young people with special needs over 17 years old in their training and preparation for employment. SNAP (Special Needs Albanian Program) is a project of the Jonathan Center, funded by the European Union, within the framework of the project “Spread of Social Enterprises: vocational training, work and inclusion”, and implemented by Engim Albania, Qendra Murialdo Fier, Help Albania and Libera Contro le Mafie, which aims to promote the development of social enterprises in Albania in a sustainable and inclusive manner.

We are happy to share that, on our 15th anniversary, we opened a second location and established the SNAP (Special Needs Albania Program) center. The Center aims to become a Social Enterprise, which will serve as a center for vocational training and employment of our youth with special needs, while they benefit from therapeutic interventions.
