In collaboration with the Starfire Council of Greater Cincinnati, the Jonathan Center implemented two personalized projects for two young people with special needs, during the period March – October 2025, with a focus on social inclusion, personal development, and strengthening self-confidence.
Vanesa - Art that Connects
Vanesa took a leadership role in the “Art that Connects” activity, where she guided the creative process and supported other participants. She showcased her artistic talent, increased self-esteem, strengthened communication skills, and experienced increased independence and responsibility, contributing to building a collaborative and welcoming community environment.





Edmond - Book Club
Edmond significantly increased his self-confidence by taking an active role in the Book Club, where he contributed as an engaged reader and participant. He strengthened his personal identity by focusing on his skills and passions, built new social relationships and improved his communication skills, feeling more included and valued in the community.
